Retail Strategy: Boutiques

In 2010, credit and consumer spending were in a slump and retail department stores were losing business. However, Kohl’s department stores were maintaining success through a number of exclusive brands. After an analysis of the retail landscape and supply chain, we proposed expanding on those exclusive brands with the creation of the Kohl’s Boutique line of stores.
